Farmstead Lodges

Situated on the edge of the idyllic village of Easton and just a 15-minute drive from Woodbridge, the lodges have either one or two bedrooms and all include a handmade kitchen, open plan living room, en suite bathroom and a private veranda with an outdoor bathtub.

Ali and Sian Kerr, owners of neighbouring Easton Grange wedding venue, opened The Farmstead in 2022.

Built on former farmland, their vision was to create luxury self-catering cabins inspired by the rural environment they are situated in.

Sustainability was a guiding principle of the build. Reclaimed scaffold boards and other reclaimed materials feature both internally and externally, and the land surrounding the lodges is being rewilded.

The Farmstead is a true Suffolk enterprise – not only do Ali and Sian want to help people discover this picturesque corner of England, but they also ensured that local craftspeople and businesses are at the heart of what they have created.

Suffolk-based builders were engaged to construct the lodges and designer Angie Ashby-Hoare worked with many local furniture makers, upholsterers, interiors companies and bathroom suppliers to ensure the links to the locality are maintained throughout.

She also scoured Suffolk charity shops, auction houses and antiques markets to add vintage touches to the finished lodges.

With their cosy living spaces, bespoke kitchens, spacious en suite bedrooms and private verandas, we are sure many guests will love to simply hunker down in their lodge for a restorative and luxurious escape.
