Welcome to TailBlazr, your go-to place for finding the best dog-friendly spots near you and throughout the UK! We have 1000s of dog friendly locations – from cities such as Manchester and London to smaller, rural locations in the countryside.

We believe every dog deserves a great place to hang out, and we’re here to make it easy for you to find those perfect spots.

Our Mission

We want to make it quick and easy for dog parents to discover dog friendly – not just dog tolerant – places near them. TailBlazr is your one-stop-shop for any adventure whether it’s to the local pub, your favourite restaurant, or somewhere new to stay.

TailBlazr is all about growing and fostering a community where we can share new places and enjoy new experiences with our furry friends.

Not only that, we want to showcase and celebrate businesses who go above and beyond to make our furry friends welcome by providing tools for them to grow and attract dog parents.

Our Story

Research suggests that over 80% of dogs find it challenging when left alone at home, and in many cases not displaying any obvious signs of this. Separately, almost 20% of dogs (1 in 5!) experience separation anxiety which can make it difficult to leave them for longer periods of time – or at all in some cases.

TailBlazr started when one of our co-founders was looking for dog friendly places with his dachshund, Xena. He struggled with leaving her for longer periods of time, finding places to socialise her, and with finding useful information about dog friendly places.

It became clear that many other dog parents also experienced this same frustration – not knowing which places were dog friendly or information online being hard to understand and outdated.

This is when TailBlazr was born – to help people in our local area, Manchester, explore and find places nearby. What began as a simple idea has grown into a thriving community of dog owners and dog friendly businesses.

Since our launch, we have expanded rapidly from Manchester throughout the UK into major cities such as London, Liverpool, Sheffield, Birmingham and many others. Not only that, we also cover many other areas such as towns and cities in Devon & Cornwall, the Cotswolds, and all throughout the UK!

Absolutely – and it’s completely free to do so.

You can search for your business and press the “Claim Listing” button on the page.

If your business isn’t listed on TailBlazr, you can add a listing and once it’s approved you’ll be able to follow the claim process.

Is TailBlazr available in my area?

Yes! TailBlazr allows dog parents to add dog friendly places from anywhere in the UK.

We have a large number of dog friendly places in many towns and cities throughout the UK.
