Who doesn’t love a weekend? Time to put your feet up until the pre-work scaries kick in on Sunday night!
Weekends are always a great time to explore Manchester and uncover it’s hidden gems – from cafes, bars, shops, parks and more. Not only that, you often have more time to be able to spend with your dog and take them on some great walks.
The great thing about Manchester is that you don’t have to leave your dog behind either! In fact, this weekend Xena – my sassy dachshund – came with me to explore and she had a great time meeting other people and dogs.
We started off our weekend with a walk around Salford Quays where we stopped for some coffee at Blanconero. This was perfect whilst the rain made its way through the quays.
Later on, we went to meet some friends and Xena doesn’t want to be left out! Fortunately, we were able to visit some great dog friendly places in Castlefield such as The Wharf and Dukes 92. Both with dog bowls available and plenty of people for Xena to try and get attention from.
Safe to say, after a day exploring the city, she was absolutely knackered! Happy dog parent as I had the rest of the evening to myself in peace, and happy dog who got to explore the big wide world.
You can find dog friend places to take your pooch, just like me and Xena did! Try searching on the TailBlazr website now.
