Welcome to Dulcimer, a beloved bar nestled in the heart of Chorlton, just steps away from the iconic “Four Banks” crossroads. Housed in a converted stationers since 2007, this vibrant venue is a hub of community and conviviality.

With up to four rotating cask beers, including brews from esteemed breweries such as Pomona Island, Marble, Kirkstall, and Thornbridge, Dulcimer offers a diverse selection to please discerning palates. Additionally, cider from a renowned producer is served via a fifth handpump at the bar.

Venture downstairs to discover a spacious and inviting area, leading out to a seated and heated back yard, perfect for enjoying drinks al fresco. Upstairs, another lounge awaits, complete with a small bar that can be opened for special occasions. At the far end of the room, a raised stage hosts a variety of live acts, predominantly folk acts and singer-songwriters, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the venue. The toilets are conveniently located on another floor up.

In addition to the usual bar snacks, Dulcimer offers a pop-up noodle bar operating from Thursdays to Sundays, providing a delicious culinary experience for patrons.
