The Con Club

Dogs are welcome in the bar area where you can enjoy a variety of craft beers, cocktails, and wines.

The Con Club is situated in the heart of Altrincham’s bustling food and drinks scene, in what was once the Working Men’s Conservative club. The building has been lovingly restored into a relaxed all day eating and drinking venue across two floors, including a huge outdoor heated terrace, an intimate rooftop tipi and a microbrewery!

The menu, designed by owner David Vanderhook and local chefs Ed Saunders & Harrison Le Bouttilier, offers up breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as weekly Sunday roasts. You can expect premium cuts of meat, grilled over charcoal, fresh seafood, sushi and sashimi from the raw bar alongside classic dishes, all prepared and cooked from scratch using the finest quality ingredients from local suppliers.

Open seven days a week, the bar caters for everyone, with an extensive drinks list including coffees, fresh juices and smoothies made to order during the day.

Those looking for something a little ‘stronger’ can pick from a carefully selected wine list which pairs expertly well with the food menu, a variety of locally distilled spirits plus those sourced from all over the globe and a considerable selection of craft beers, not to mention their own Con Club craft ale brewed onsite weekly. If cocktails are your thing, there is a delightful selection of well executed classics alongside some more adventurous concoctions, should you decide to try something a little different!

For this chasing an entertainment value, weekend DJs take residence in the upstairs bar every Friday & Saturday, whilst local Live Musicians take centre stage every Sunday evening from 5pm.
